WICHITA, Kan. – Wichita State men's tennis will compete in the Fort Worth Regional at the 2027 edition of ITA Kickoff Weekend.
The Shockers will be the No. 4 seed in the region, hosted by TCU. No. 2 seed Tulsa and No. 3 seed Indiana will join Wichita State and the Horned Frogs in the regional.
Among teams in the American Conference, Wichita State is one of four programs competing in ITA Kickoff Weekend, joining Rice, Charlotte and Tulsa.
Wichita State is making its first appearance at ITA Kickoff Weekend since the 2022 season, when the Shockers also competed in the Fort Worth Regional and earned a consolation match victory over Portland.
ITA Kickoff Weekend is scheduled for Jan. 22-24, 2027, at 14 host sites across the country. Each region champion advances to the ITA National Indoor Championship.
All matches in the Fort Worth Regional are scheduled to be played at the Bayard H. Friedman Tennis Center in Fort Worth, Texas. Wichita State will open the regional against host TCU on Jan. 22.
