Wichita State assistant coach Easton Herring debuts on the podcast to talk about his journey from Pratt High School to Shocker baseball and into college softball. He talks about playing catch the right way, building relationships and the progress of fall softball.

We also dive into his place in the Kansas high school baseball record book and what Sami Hood is working on as she moves to shortstop.

Herring is the newest addition to the Wichita State softball coaching staff. He returned to WSU in July after a year at Austin Peay as an assistant coach. He also coached as a volunteer for Virginia Tech softball and as a graduate manager and volunteer assistant for the Shocker baseball team.
 
Herring played two seasons of baseball at Newman University. His sister Neleigh Herring played softball for the Shockers.
