AUSTIN, Texas – Brady Palen earned honorable mention All-America status with his 18
th-place finish in the high jump Friday at the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships at Mike A. Myers Stadium.
The junior from Beloit, Kan. cleared 2.06m/6'9" on his first attempt and 2.11m/6'11" on second attempt, bowing out of the competition at 2.16m/7'1".
American Athletic Conference rival Romaine Beckford of South Florida completed the indoor/outdoor double, winning the competition with a clearance of 2.27m/7'5.14".
