Farrah Miller joins the podcast to talk about running the 800 meters, how her practice run at Cessna Stadium led her to coming to Wichita State from New York and her advice for sight-seeing in the Big Apple. We talk about carbon-plated shoes and how they are changing the sport and more before Friday's K.T. Woodman Classic at Cessna Stadium.

Miller is a sophomore middle distance runner from White Plains, N.Y. She earned all-conference honors in the 800 meters in February in the American Athletic Conference Indoor Championship, and her time of 2:08.80 ranks third on the school records list. She also ranks second on the school's indoor 600-meter list with a time of 1:24.84.
In 2022, she won the 800 at the NJCAA Outdoor Championships in Hutchinson for Monroe (N.Y.) Community College.

The
K.T. Woodman Track Classic starts Thursday with high school competition at Cessna Stadium. The college events begin Friday, with the 800 scheduled for 6:45 p.m.
