WICHITA, Kan. -- Wichita State outfielder Chuck Ingram and left-handed pitcher/designated hitter Payton Tolle were selected to the American Athletic Conference Weekly Honor Roll, the conference announced Monday.

Ingram continued his recent hot stretch with three more multi-hit games against Oklahoma and Creighton, going a combined 8-13 (.615) with a double, a home run, and five RBI. He also walked twice, was hit by a pitch and stole two bases. All told, Ingram reached base in 11 of 16 plate appearances this week, good for a .688 on-base percentage.

The highlight of Ingram's week was a monster performance against Oklahoma on Tuesday, in which the junior outfielder went 4-for-4 with three RBI, including a crucial two-run homer late in the game that helped the Shockers to a 6-2 victory. Dating back to the beginning of the Stetson series on March 10, Ingram is 11 for his last 23 with four extra base hits and nine RBI in six games. He has raised his batting average 111 points over that six-game stretch.

Tolle added another chapter to his spectacular sophomore campaign, setting a career high with 12 strikeouts on Sunday vs. Creighton. He went the distance in Wichita State's seven-inning, run-rule win and finished his outing by retiring 16 of the last 17 he faced, including six straight strikeouts. The southpaw did not issue a walk or hit a batter.
In addition to his work on the mound, Tolle went 5-for-12 (.417) at the plate over the three games, scoring four runs and driving in five. He drew three total walks during the week and added his first career stolen base on Saturday.

Tolle leads the Shockers with a .395 batting average and 19 RBI to go along with a 4-0 record and 3.00 ERA in 30.0 innings of work.
