ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – Brady Palen is set to represent the Shockers at the NCAA Indoor Championships Saturday at 2 p.m. CT in the Albuquerque Convention Center.

The sophomore from Beloit, Kan. is the No. 7 seed in the high jump with his season and personal best mark of 2.22m/7'3.25" that tied the school record and won the Arkansas Qualifier in February.

This marks the seventh-consecutive NCAA Indoor Championship with a Wichita State competitor. Palen will have a rematch with American Athletic Conference rival Romaine Beckford, who will represent South Florida as the No. 3 seed, while the top-two marks in the NCAA are held by Oklahoma's Vernon Turner (2.28m) and Louisville's Trey Allen (2.27m) going into the championship.
