STILLWATER, Okla – Lucy Ndungu placed 22
nd at the NCAA Midwest Regional to earn All-Region recognition Friday morning at the Greiner Family OSU Cross Country Course as Wichita State wrapped up its cross country season in Stillwater.

The Shocker men placed 10
th out of 28 teams, and the women finished 20
th out of 32 teams.
Â
Ndungu will bring home some hardware as the 37
th woman in Shocker history to be named all-region.
Â
Lubna Aldulaimi was the second Shocker across the line, wrapping up her collegiate cross country career with a 105
th-place finish.
Miranda Dick,
Isabelle Hartnett and
Lea Jerkovic rounded out the first five Shockers, finishing 112
th, 131
st and 145
th, respectively, out of 231 racers.

Adam Rzentkowski led the Shocker men in his final collegiate cross country race, placing 27
th and just missing the all-region podium.
Zander Cobb finished just behind him in 34
th and
Jackson Caldwell concluded his Shocker career with a 52
nd-place finish.

Cesar Ramirez and
Jacob Meyers completed the Shocker scoring positions, placing 103
rd and 126
th, respectively.

The host team Oklahoma State won both the men's and women's regional team titles and were joined by Iowa State in earning automatic team bids to the NCAA Championships. The Northwestern women and Tulsa men finished third and will await the NCAA Selection Show to find out if they will earn an at-large bid.

The Shockers did not advance any runners to the NCAA Championships and will now turn their attention to the indoor track and field season.
