NORMAN, Okla./AZUSA, Cali. – Six multi-event athletes and one distance runner are set to compete at the Sooner Multis and Bryan Clay Invitational on Friday and Saturday.
 
Adam Moore will race in the 1500 meters at the Bryan Clay Invitational in Azusa, California, where he will run in the seventh heat. The first heat is scheduled for 5 p.m. PT/7 p.m. CT. Moore has only run the 1500m once this season when he finished first at the Hayward Premiere in Eugene, Oregon with a time of 3:44.93, just off his personal best of 3:44.67.
 
In Norman, two Shocker men and four Shocker women are entered in the two-day multi-event competition. Hudson Bailey and Kolby Caster will compete in the decathlon, while Anna Heacock, Kenisa Meyer, Maria Romero and Brianna Utecht will take on the heptathlon. The first event of each day is schedule for 10:30 a.m. CT. Utecht has recorded the best heptathlon mark of the season for the Shockers with a point total of 4,983 at the Shocker Spring Invitational. Maria Romero will make her heptathlon debut after taking sixth in the indoor pentathlon at the American Athletic Conference Indoor Championships.
