WICHITA, Kan. - Seniors Ryleigh Buck and Bailey Lange were named to the American Athletic Conference Weekly Honor Roll after helping Wichita State go 5-0 over the weekend, including an upset of No. 23 Iowa State.

Buck hit .357 in five games with two home runs, a triple, six RBI and six runs scored. The Wellington, Kan., native hit both home runs, one of which was a grand slam, in the Shockers' 8-1 win vs. Missouri State.

Lange made three appearances in the circle, two complete games, and went 2-0 with a save and a 0.98 ERA, allowing just two earned runs. She struck out eight batters and allowed only three walks in 14.1 innings of work. Lange threw a complete game in Wichita State's 3-1 win vs. No. 23 Iowa State, giving up the one run on only five hits.

Wichita State is back in action this week for a midweek doubleheader vs. South Dakota State at 3 p.m., before hosting four teams over the weekend for the Wichita State Tournament.
