WICHITA, Kan. - Junior forward Asia Strong picked up her third American Athletic Conference Weekly Honor Roll selection Monday afternoon.

The South Bend, Ind., native scored a team-high 17 points on 7-of-10 shooting in Wichita State's win at Cincinnati last Wednesday. Strong also tied a season high with three made three-pointers to go with four rebounds, a block and a steal.

Strong has scored 10 or more points in every game but one this season, including all five conference games.

She joins Seraphine Bastin as the only two Shockers to collect a weekly honor roll nod this season. The Shockers are scheduled to finally return to Charles Koch Arena for the first time since Jan. 2 on Wednesday vs. Tulane at 3 p.m.
