Tyson Etienne was named Monday to the American Athletic Conference Weekly Honor Roll.
 
The second-time sophomore guard from Englewood, N.J. – averaged 27.5 points and buried 11 threes over two games at the Roman Main Event.
 
Etienne put up 28 points in Sunday's 74-73 win over UNLV, including five second-half threes. He sank two game-winning free throws with 3 seconds remaining.
 
Etienne was especially good down the stretch, averaging 23.5 points after halftime.
 
For the season he's contributing a team-high 18.8 points and 3.3 triples-per-game.
 
Wichita State (4-1) returns to action Friday at Missouri (8 p.m. CT, SEC Network).
