Taylor Eldridge is the Wichita State beat writer for The Wichita Eagle, a position he has held since 2017.

Eldridge, a 2011 Wichita State graduate with a BA in communication, talks about the editing and writing process for his video analysis, how sportswriting changed in recent years as the importance of the print product diminished and his story of getting locked in a football stadium after deadline.

Eldridge discusses his thoughts on how the Shockers built their 8-3 record and the work of interim coach Isaac Brown. He breaks down the improvement by center Morris Udeze and guard Tyson Etienne and how those two are influencing the season.
