WICHITA, Kan. - Senior catcher
Madison Perrigan broke the American Athletic Conference home run record at the Rock Chalk Challenge and was named to the American Athletic Conference Weekly Honor Roll.

Perrigan, a Mustang, Okla., native, averaged .462 and had seven RBIs on four home runs and a double at the Kansas tournament last weekend. She broke the AAC record for career home runs with a solo shot in the fifth inning against Kansas. In the first matchup against Kansas City, Perrigan had two, two-RBI home runs to power the Shockers over the Roos. Her fourth home run of the tournament came in the second game against Kansas and it put her two away from tying the WSU record of 39. Perrigan leads the team with seven home runs, eight doubles, a .718 slugging percentage, a 1.181 OPS and 16 walks.

Perrigan and the Shockers will travel to Stillwater, Okla., on Wednesday for the first game of a two-game series against No. 14/12 Oklahoma State at Cowgirl Stadium at 6 p.m. The game will be streamed on ESPN+.
