WICHITA, Kan. - Wichita State hosts second place Cincinnati in the final home contest on Saturday at 2 p.m. Wichita State will recognize its three seniors prior to the game.

LAST TIME OUT
Wichita State swept its regular season series with Tulsa following a 70-61 road win on Sunday, Feb. 23. The Shockers are 19-4 all-time vs. the Golden Hurricane.
Ashley Reid scored a team-high 13 points behind 3-of-4 shooting from beyond the arc.
Seraphine Bastin registered her second career double-double and first of the season with 12 points and a personal-best 15 rebounds.
DJ McCarty also added 12 points on a perfect 5-of-5 shooting from the field.
Mariah McCully saw her streak of double-figure scoring games come to an end at 17, as she finished with nine points on 3-of-10 shooting.
Shyia Smith swiped a career-high four steals.
SCOUTING THE BEARCATS
Cincinnati enters the matchup at 18-9 overall and tied for second place at 9-5 in league play. Cincinnati is led by junior forward IImar'I Thomas who averages a team-best 18.7 points and 8.2 rebounds per game, while shooting 58.9 percent from the field. Thomas leads The American in field goals made and field goal percentage, and ranks second in total points and free throws made. Her 199 made field goals rank 9th nationally. Antoinette Miller posts 15.6 points to go with a team-high 4.1 assists a game. Angel Rizor rounds out the double figure scorers at 11.9 per contest. As a team, Cincinnati leads the conference in fewest turnovers.
THE SERIES VS. CINCINNATI
Wichita State and Cincinnati have met only three times prior to Saturday, but the series dates all the way back to the first meeting on Dec. 9, 1983. The Shockers have never beaten the Bearcats and are 0-1 when Cincinnati plays in Charles Koch Arena. Wichita State and Cincinnati have met just one time in each of the last two seasons due to the unbalanced American Athletic Conference schedule.
LAST MEETING
Wichita State dropped the only meeting during the 2018-19 campaign, an 82-54 win for the Bearcats at Cincinnati. The Shockers hung around for three quarters, but Cincinnati blew it open behind a 28-15 fourth quarter. Wichita State was hammered on the glass, as they were outrebounded 41-26. Cincinnati only committed six turnovers in the game and shot 52.5 percent from the field. On the offensive end, Wichita State made only 9-of-18 attempts at the free throw line and shot 39.6 percent overall.
Trajata Colbert scored a team-high 11 points in only 16 minutes off the bench.
Sabrina Lozada-Cabbage added 10 points and six rebounds.
ABOUT THE BEARCATS
Located in Cincinnati, Ohio, the University of Cincinnati has an enrollment of 46,388 as a member of the American Athletic Conference. Cincinnati returns five letterwinners and all five starters off last year's squad that finished 24-11 and 12-4 in The American. The Bearcats were picked to finish tied for third by the league's coaches in the American Athletic Conference Preseason Poll. Cincinnati placed two on the Preseason All-Conference Second Team in senior guard Antoinette Miller and junior forward IImar'I Thomas. BREMAUD APPROACHES 500 CAREER POINTS
Wichita State sophomore guard
Carla Bremaud is just five points away from 500 for her career through her first two seasons as a Shocker. She is the active career scoring leader for Wichita State and is averaging 8.8 points per game in the 56 games she's suited up. Bremaud is on pace to become the 21st Shocker to score 1,000 career points in the Black & Yellow.
BASTIN NABS THIRD HONOR ROLL SELECTION
Sophomore
Seraphine Bastin picked up her team-leading third American Athletic Conference Weekly Honor Roll accolade on Feb. 24. Bastin, a Dinant, Belgium, native averaged 10.0 points, 10.5 rebounds, 5.5 assists in Wichita State's two games last week against SMU and Tulsa. She opened with eight points, six rebounds and seven assists vs. SMU, and concluded the week with her second career double-double at Tulsa. Bastin finished with 12 points and a career-high 15 rebounds in the win.
DISH IT OUT
Wichita State handed out a season-high 21 assists at Temple on Feb. 5. Sophomore

Ashley Reid added six. The 21 assists were the most since dishing out 26 vs. Temple in Feb. 2018.
OH MY MARIAH
Junior Mariah McCully has been on a scoring tear for the Shockers this season. She has scored 10 or more in 17 of the last 18 games, including two 20-point outings. Her 17-game double-digit streak was snapped at Tulsa on Feb. 23 when she finished with nine points. McCully's 18 games of 10 or more points this season rank first on the team and she is Wichita State's leading scorer on the year at 13.6 per game. The Shockers have three 20-point outings this season, two of which belong to McCully.
REBOUNDING IS THE KEY
When Wichita State wins the rebound battle, the outcome has been positive this season. The Shockers are 11-1 when winning the battle of the boards and 4-11 when they don't. In Wichita State's 15 wins this season, the Shockers are outrebounding their opponents by an average of 4.5 boards a game and grabbing 37.8 in those games. In the 11 losses, they average only 34.2 rebounds and are outrebounded by 5.6.
TURNOVER TULANE
Wichita State set a season high with 17 steals and forced 26 turnovers - the second most this season. Wichita State has recorded 12 or more steals eight times this season. It was the 13th time forcing 20 or more turnovers.
Mariah McCully was responsible for seven of the team's 17 steals - the most since TaQuandra Mike had seven against Northern Iowa on Jan. 1, 2017.
