WICHITA – Head coach
Terry Nooner and the Shocker women's basketball team finalized its 2026-27 non-conference slate, releasing the schedule Wednesday afternoon.
The non-conference schedule features a home exhibition plus five more home games as the Shockers are set to host Newman for an exhibition on Oct. 28 and Missouri State for the home opener on Nov. 10, along with UC Riverside on Nov. 14, Haskell Indian Nations on Dec. 2, Omaha on Dec. 12 and Jacksonville State on Dec. 15.
Wichita State will face Kansas State in Manhattan for an in-state showdown and will make two trips to Kansas City as the Shockers are set to face Kansas City in the Swinney Center and Oklahoma State in the 28.5 Hoops Women's Invitational. The Shockers will also play two games in the Jaguar Classic in Mobile, Ala., facing the home team South Alabama as well as Charleston Southern. Other road contests include Oral Roberts and Middle Tennessee, in addition to Sam Houston for the non-conference finale.

The American Conference schedule and game times will be announced at a later date.
