WICHITA – The American Conference announced the home-away pairings for the 2026-27 women's basketball season Friday morning.
 
The conference schedule again features 18 games with each team playing six home-and-home series as well as three home-only and three road-only opponents. The Shockers will play Tulsa, Temple, Memphis, Charlotte, Tulane and UAB both at home and on the road, while also hosting 2025-26 regular season champion, Rice, South Florida and East Carolina in Charles Koch Arena. Wichita State will face 2025-26 conference tournament champion, UTSA, as well as North Texas and Florida Atlantic on the road only.
 
American Conference play begins Wednesday, December 30, 2026, and will run through Saturday, March 6, 2027. The complete 2026-27 schedule with dates and times will be released at a later date.
