Wichita State's roster consists of seven true freshmen, one redshirt freshman, one sophomore, two juniors, one redshirt junior and two seniors. All told, the average age of the 2018-19 Shockers is just 19.2 years, making them the fifth youngest team in the country.

The Series vs. Cincinnati
Wichita State and Cincinnati have met just twice prior to Sunday's matchup, with the Bearcats holding a 2-0 advantage. The first meeting took place in December 1983 with the Bearcats taking that contest on a neutral floor, 76-58. Wichita State has never played the Bearcats in Cincinnati.

Last Meeting
Wichita State and Cincinnati met just over a year ago on Feb. 7 in Wichita where the Bearcats came away with a 75-69 road win. Wichita State only committed 10 turnovers in the contest and shot just under 40 percent, but only converted on 4-of-16 attempts from three-point range. Cincinnati finished the game shooting 51 percent and 8-of-20 from long range. Rangie Bessard collected a double-double in the losing effort with 24 points and 13 rebounds. Diamond Lockhart and Angiee Tompkins both added 14 points apiece.

Scouting the Bearcats

Cincinnati is 14-8 overall and 6-3 in The American with league wins over SMU, Temple, Tulsa, Houston, Memphis and USF. The Bearcats are one of the league's top teams in terms of sharing and taking care of the ball. They rank second in The American in assist-turnover ratio, assists and fewest turnovers. Antoinette Miller paces The American with 121 assists this season to go with 11.7 points per game. Miller also ranks second in steals (45), assists per game (5.5) and third in assist-turnover ratio (2.16). IImar'I Thomas leads Cincinnati in scoring (13.3) and rebounding (7.1), while ranking seventh nationally in field goal percentage (64.6 percent).

Clutch Colbert
Freshman Trajata Colbert hadn't played since Jan. 4, but when head coach Keitha Adams called her number Wednesday, Feb. 6 at Memphis, the Georgia native responded. Colbert played a season-high 14 minutes and logged 11 points and 5 boards. Her 11 points were the most she's scored since Nov. 17 when she finished with a season-high 12 against Houston Baptist.

Bastin's Boards
Freshman guard Seraphine Bastin has been Wichita State's best rebounders of late. The 5-foot-8 point guard has pulled down six or more rebounds in the last six of the last seven games, including a season-high 10 twice (vs. Memphis and ECU on Jan. 12 and Jan. 29). She is averaging 7.3 rebounds per game over a seven-game stretch. In conference play (9 games), Bastin has a team-high 59 rebounds - 16 more than the next closest Shocker (Sabrina Lozada-Cabbage, 43) - good for a 6.6 rebound per game average.

Offensive Rebounds > Defensive Rebounds
Redshirt junior forward Raven Prince is on pace to finish the season with more offensive rebounds than defensive rebounds. Through 22 games this season, Prince has pulled down 101 total rebounds and 59 of them coming on the offensive end. That means 58 percent of her rebounds are giving the Shockers another opportunity to score. Wichita State has 271 total offensive rebounds and Prince makes up 22 percent of that number.

Bri Approaches 100
Senior forward Sabrina Lozada-Cabbage is just four games away from playing her 100th career game in a Shocker uniform. The Santa Fe, N.M., native has played in 96 games, making 70 starts during her four-year career. So far this season she is just one of two Shockers to start every game - along with freshman guard Seraphine Bastin. As of now, she is on pace to reach No. 100 at USF on Feb. 23.
