Wichita State's Markis McDuffie was named to the American Athletic Conference Honor Roll for Feb. 4-10.
 
McDuffie – a 6-8 senior forward from Paterson, N.J. -- averaged 19.5 points and 5.5 rebounds to lead the Shockers to another 2-0 week. He hit 6-of-14 threes (.429), was a perfect 9-for-9 at the foul line and became just the 16^th player in school history to reach 100 career steals.
 
McDuffie made four three-pointers and scored 25 points in Saturday's home victory against Tulane. It was his tenth 20-point performance of the year, tying 2014 consensus All-American Cleanthony Early for the most by a Marshall Era Shocker.
 
McDuffie scored 14 points Wednesday night at ECU to help WSU to its first true road victory.
 
The senior has connected on threes in a career-best 14-straight games – tied for the ninth longest streak in school history – and now ranks 13^th on the school's career three-point field goal chart.
 
This is McDuffie's fifth weekly honor from The American this season. He's twice won the league's player of the week award.
 
For the season, McDuffie's 18.9 points per game ranks second on The American leaderboard. He also ranks among the league's top-10 in free throw percentage (5^th, .835), 3-point percentage (8^th, .385) and 3-pointers (6^th, 2.5).
 
Winners of four-straight games, Wichita State (12-11, 5-6 American) travels to Cincinnati on Sunday. The Noon CT tip airs nationally on ESPN.
