CHASING 600
Wichita State enters the 2019-20 campaign with an all-time record of 599-685, needing just one win to reach 600. They would become the 10th program in the American Athletic Conference with 600 or more victories. UCF (597) is right on the doorstep to 600 as well - needing only three wins to reach the milestone. Tulsa (352) is the only other active member shy of that mark.

LAST TIME OUT
Wichita State picked up its third straight win and improved to 2-0 all-time vs. Houston Baptist. WSU held Houston Baptist to a season low 25.9 percent shooting and 5-of22 from three-point range - tied for a season low. For the second straight game, Wichita State led by 30 or more. The Shockers' 50 rebounds set a season high, behind a career-high 17 from Shyia Smith. Smith recorded her first career double-double with 10 points and 17 rebounds. The 17 boards are the most since Sabrina Lozada-Cabbage had 17 vs. Bradley on Feb. 19, 2017. DJ McCarty notched her second straight game with 10 or more points and third of the season with a team-high 12. Ashlei Kirven just missed double figure rebounds with a season-high nine.

SCOUTING THE SOONERS
Oklahoma is 4-2 to open the season after wins against Prairie View A&M (94-48), UAB (82- 75), Stephen F. Austin (75-62) and ACU (78-65) and losses to Missouri State (96-90) and Houston (85-69). Ana Llanusa leads three Sooners in double-figures at 19.2 points per game to go with 5.3 rebounds and 19 steals. Taylor Robertson (18.0 ppg) and Madi Williams (14.2 ppg, 11.0 rpg) round out the leading scorers. Llanusa ranks 18th nationally in steals, 33rd in steals per game, 20th in free throw attempts, 25th in points and 14th in field goal attempts. Robertson is one of the nation's top shooters, ranking 1st in 3FGM and 3FGM per game, while Williams is in the top 20 in rebounds and double-doubles.

BUCKETS FOR BREMAUD
A season ago, Carla Bremaud led the Shockers in scoring and was selected for the American Athletic Conference All-Freshman Team, becoming the first freshman to lead Wichita State in scoring for a season since Kiki Stephens in 2004-05. Now a sophomore, Bremaud will look to carry that momentum into 2019-20, while also coming off a summer with the French U20 National Team.

A SHOCKER WIN WOULD...
... make them 4-2 on the season
... give them four straight wins after starting 0-2
... close the gap in the series with OU to 7-13
... snap OU's five-game win streak in the series
... run Adams' career coaching record to 441-283
... make Adams 314-246 at the Division I level
... make them 368-231 all-time in Charles Koch Arena
... make Wichita State 600-685 all-time

A SHOCKER LOSS WOULD...
... drop them to 3-3 to begin the season
... snap a three-game win streak
... drop WSU to 6-14 all-time vs. Oklahoma
... give Oklahoma six straight wins in the series
... lower Adams' career coaching record to 440-284
... make Adams 313-247 at the Division I level
... make them 367-232 all-time in Charles Koch Arena
... make Wichita State 599-686 all-time

CAREER NIGHTS

HEY DJ, GO DJ
Playing in her first collegiate road contest on Monday, Nov. 11 at Oral Roberts, freshman guard DJ McCarty set a number of season highs. The Texas native also pulled down four rebounds. McCarty and Carla Bremaud single-handedly kep the Shockers in it the first half, combining for 17 of the team's 25 points.

MCCULLY SHINES IN DEBUT
Junior guard Mariah McCully made her long-awaited Wichita State debut on Sunday, Nov. 17 vs. Southern, and she did not disappoint. The Grand Rapids, Mich., native came off the bench to score a game-high 12 points in 22 minutes of action, while shooting 5-of-10 from the floor. McCully did a little bit of everything, totaling three rebounds, three assists and four steals to help the Shockers record their first win of the season.

WIN NO. 300
