WICHITA, Kan. - Wichita State sophomore guard Seraphine Bastin has picked up her first career weekly honor and the first of 2019-20 for Wichita State after being named to the American Athletic Conference Weekly Honor Roll Monday afternoon.

Bastin, a Dinant, Belgium native, scored a game and career-high 20 points in the Shockers' road win at Louisiana Tech (88-80) last Wednesday. She was 5-for-7 from the field and 9-for-14, both career highs, from the free throw line. Bastin also collected a game-high tying eight rebounds to go with four assists and three steals.

She returned to the starting lineup after missing the first game of her career on Sunday, Nov. 17 vs. Southern.

Bastin and the Shockers return to the floor tonight against Houston Baptist at 6:30 p.m. on COX YurView (HD 2022).
