The 2018-19 Wichita State Dance Team recently participated in a National Dance Alliance (NDA) camp from July 29-31 at Northwest Missouri State in Maryville, Mo.  The group spent three schedule-packed days at the camp working with instructors in various styles including Jazz, Hip Hop, Kick, Pom, and Game day styles. 

The team received the honor of 'Excellent' for their energetic in-game performance to "Legend by the Score". The Shocker Dance Team also captured a third-place recognition in 'Team Dance' on their way to a Gold Bid to NDA Nationals. 

Several dance members earned individual achievements at the NDA camp, including two being named All-Americans.

The Shocker Dance Team worked hard and had a successful dance camp. Wichita State Dance Coaches, Darcy Clark, Tessa Aldag and Kate Stybr, are proud of the girls' hard work and accomplishments. Look for more great things to come from this talented Shocker Dance Team this year.
