COLUMBIA, Mo. - Senior
Gavrilla Arya shot a career-low of 70 in the second round of the Johnie Imes Invitational on Tuesday. Arya shot 2-under par, moving her into a tie for eighth place heading into the final round.
Senior Laine Evans and freshman Hana Mirnik both shot 73's in the second round, moving them into a tie for 26th place. Junior Michelle Ledermann shot a 79 and is tied for 56th while freshman Chiara Arya shot an 81 and is currently in 67th. Junior Annika Chickering, who competed as an individual, shot a 76 to move into a tie for 63rd.
Tournament host Missouri leads the team standings with a 564 combined score after 36 holes, leading Florida Gulf Coast by six strokes. Wichita State moved up to sixth place after shooting 295 as a team.
