Slam Pong Tournament | Pep Rally, Nearly Naked Run & Pancake Feed

WICHITA, Kan. - Homecoming week is near, get in on all the action from attending the official Shocker watch party, shooting your shot in slam pong, showcasing it all in the nearly naked run and cheering on your Shocks at the homecoming game.
 
Start homecoming off week by attending the official Shocker watch party at Deano's Grill and Tapworks Tuesday February 6, as the men's basketball team takes on Memphis at 8 p.m., on CBS. Students and alumni will have the opportunity to win exclusive homecoming week prizes sponsored by the Wichita State University Alumni Association.
 
Continue the homecoming celebration by entering in the Space Jam Slam Pong Tournament on Wednesday February 7, at 6 p.m., inside Charles Koch Arena Practice Gym. Compete by going head to head against other Shocker students in a fun and friendly tournament style pong competition. Teams will compete in the practice gym before the women's game, with the championship match up to occur during halftime of the women's game.
 
Dare-A-Shock! Student Alumni Board will be partnering with the Student Activities Council to host Dare-A-Shocker.  Do you know your WSU history? How about 90s trivia? If so come out and play along to a mashup of Double Dare and Brain Games. Meet up with the homecoming candidates and see if they know their history too. This event is FREE for WSU students and staff. 
 
Bare it all, well nearly, join Shocker fans as we pep up for Saturday's game! Following a brief pep rally starting at 7 p.m., at Koch Arena, the tradition of the Nearly Naked Run and Pancake Feed is back. After the run, participants will be rewarded with pancakes, as well as free cosmic bowling and billiards. 
 
Cheer on the Shocks at the homecoming game Saturday February 10, at TBA, as the men's basketball team takes on UCONN. During halftime of the men's basketball game, we will announce the Homecoming King and Queen, the winner of campus decorations, and this year's spirit trophy winners. The first 150 students will receive a Shocker Space Jam Homecoming jersey, but hurry because supplies are limited! Get your jersey before entering the arena on game day!
