Losses have come against Oklahoma State, UT Arlington twice, Texas A&M, New Mexico State, Central Arkansas three times, Kansas State, New Orleans twice and Northwestern State twice. As a team, they are hitting .305 with a team ERA of 5.57 and a .951 fielding percentage. They are led offensively by Conner Fikes who is hitting .388 with three doubles, three triples, one home run, 20 RBI and seven stolen bases. SFA is led by head coach Johnny Cardenas.

Schwanke Named MVC Pitcher of the WeekWichita State baseball student-athlete
Willie Schwanke has been named the Missouri Valley Conference Pitcher of the Week for the week of March 21-27.
Schwanke, a junior from Frisco, Texas, led the Shockers to a 6-0 win over Cal Poly on Thursday. He pitched eight shutout innings and allowed five hits with two walks and six strikeouts.
He retired 11-straight at one point and gave up just one baserunner in his final four innings. The eight innings pitched were a career-high for Schwanke.
It was his second combined shutout of the season and he improved his record to 4-2 overall and lowered his ERA to 3.25.
It is the first MVC Pitcher of the Week honor of his career.

Willie Schwanke improved to 4-2 overall this season after a win on Thursday at home against Cal Poly. In three home starts this season, Schwanke is now 3-0 with a 0.95 ERA. He has pitched 19 innings and allowed two runs on 16 hits with three walks and 19 strikeouts.

Greyson Jenista has continued to improve this season. Over the last nine games, he is 10-for-29 (.345) with four runs, two home runs, 10 RBI and seven walks. He is also 5-for-7 (.714) in those games with runners in scoring position.
Mucha Leading OffAfter a rough stretch at the beginning of the season, senior outfielder
Mikel Mucha has rebounded over the last 17 games. During that span, he is 20-for-53 (.377) with 12 runs, four doubles, six RBI, 12 walks and four stolen bases.
