WICHITA, Kan. -- Head coach
Brian Green and the Wichita State baseball program announced the fall exhibition schedule Friday, along with dates for the Black and Yellow Fall World Series.
The Shockers will not leave the friendly confines of Eck Stadium, Home of Tyler Field at Gene Stephenson Park this fall. The first of three exhibitions against outside competition will be Sept. 12 vs. Cowley College. Two weeks later the Shockers host Nebraska on Sept. 26 and then wrap up exhibition play on Oct. 3 vs. Kansas City Kansas Community College. All three matchups will start at 1 p.m.
Nebraska is coming off a 43-17 season in 2026 that included hosting an NCAA Regional in Lincoln. The scrimmage vs. the Huskers also doubles as Parents Weekend.
Wichita State will also hold open intrasquad scrimmages on Sept. 3, 4, 11, 19, 20, 25 and Oct. 2 that are free for the public. Start times will vary between 2:30 and 3 p.m.
WSU concludes the fall with the annual Black & Yellow Fall World Series, a three-game series taking place Oct. 7, 8 and 10. First pitch times will be announced later.
