McCurdy Announces Women's Golf Signee

WICHITA, Kan. – Wichita State head women's golf coach Tom McCurdy has announced the signing of Taylor BeDell to a National Letter of Intent for the 2017-2018 season. 
 
"I am very excited she [BeDell] chose to play golf at Wichita State," said McCurdy. "She's a fantastic person, she has great work ethic and she's a fantastic addition to the program here at Wichita."

BeDell from Warrensburg, Mo., joins the Shockers as a two-time KCGA player of the year, two-time Missouri Junior Amateur champion, two-time Missouri State High School champion and Midwest Junior Golf Tour player of the year.
 
BeDell has eight American Junior Golf Association top 10 finishes, has played in multiple USGA championships and is a three-time KCGA girl's match play champion.
 
BeDell is also heavily involved in community and charity work and is the founder of the charitable organization GNC and also holds city and state proclamations for outstanding community service.
 
"I am excited to join the Shockers and I look forward to being a part of the golf team," said BeDell. "I can't wait to contribute to the team and also pursue a degree in business management."
