WICHITA, Kan. – The Wichita State men's tennis team swept visiting UTSA 7-0 on the Genesis indoor courts.
No. 114 Tin Ostojic improved to 4-1 against nationally ranked competition, taking down No. 42 Tomas Stillman at No. 1 singles, 6-1, 4-6, 6-4 to improve to 11-3 overall.
Tomislav Gregurovic and Ilija Cuic each added straight-set wins over Diogo Casa and Yannick Junger.
Guillermo de Vilchez lost his first set and trailed deep into the second before bouncing back for a win at No. 4 singles, 1-6, 7-5, 6-2.
Miroslav Herzan and Jocelyn Devilliers delivered wins at Nos. 5 and 6 to finish out the run.
WSU also won the doubles point. The No. 17 team of Gregurovic and Ostojic improved to 14-3 with a 6-3 win over Tito Moreiras and Fabian Brand, while Devilliers and Herzan knocked off Casa and Joel Rubio, 7-5.
WSU (4-2) hosts No. 62 George Washington at Genesis, beginning at9:00 a.m. CT.
