IOWA CITY, Iowa – The Wichita State men's tennis team dropped a 4-2 decision at Iowa Friday afternoon at the Hawkeye Tennis and Recreation Complex.

Guillermo de Vilchez and Jocelyn Devilliers accounted for the Shocker portion of the scoring.

De Vilchez defeated Stieg Martens at the No. 4 position , 6-3, 6-4, and Devilliers won a three-setter over Jake Jacoby at No. 6, 4-6, 6-4, 6-4.

WSU's Tin Ostojic (ITA No. 39) suffered only his second loss of the spring season, falling to Matt Hagan (ITA No. 98), 4-6, 6-3, 7-5.

The doubles team of Ostojic and Tomislav Gregurovic (ITA No. 20) dropped a heartbreaker to Iowa's team of Hagan and Lefteris Theodorou, 7-5.

Iowa improved to 7-1 in duals. WSU dropped to 6-3.
