The Shockers would then go on a 6-2 run capped by a Michaela Dapprich jumper at the 17:30 mark in the first half. A three by Dapprich extended the Shocker lead to 11-5 in the early going.

Both Fantasia Vine and Michelle Young of Bradley hit jumpers to cut the lead to 11-9 before Harden hit two straight shots at the 14:23 mark to end Bradley's quick spurt. WSU led 15-9 at the first media timeout of the game.

Alie Decker hit a three that allowed the Shockers to go on a 7-0 run and an 18-9 lead. Vine would hit a three of her own to end the Shocker run.

WSU used a 28-14 run to end the first half. Harden led the Shockers with 14 points while Dapprich contributed 12 points of her own. Michelle Price had 4 points and led the team with six rebounds.

WSU was 18-for-35 from the field (51.4%), shot 3-for-12 (25%) from three, and was 7-for-8 (87.5%) from the free throw line. Bradley was 10-for-23 (43.5%) from the field, shot just 1-for-6 from three (16.7%), and went 2-for-3 (66.7%) from the free-throw line.

Jamillah Bonner made a three to start the second-half scoring. This would take the Shocker lead to 49-23. Bradley wouldn't go away quietly, as they went on a 10-0 run over the next 3:45 to bring the deficit down to 49-32. In that stretch, WSU was 0-for-9 from the field.

Bonner and Dapprich ended the Braves' run by hitting a jumper and a three respectively. This took the lead back up to 21 points, 54-33, with 14:28 left in the game.

A 9-0 run by Bradley, capped off by an Alyson Spinas-Valainis jumper, would cut the Shocker lead to 54-40 with 11:06 left. At this point, WSU made just two of their last 13 shots.

Wichita State answered with a 6-0 run over the next 1:02 to end Bradley's momentum and push their lead to 60-42 at the 8:55 mark. Bradley would not make a field goal for the next eight minutes of the game until Lerma and Frings made a jumper and a three to cut into the Shocker lead 67-54.

Wichita State would go on to win by that margin and will play host to Loyola on Sunday afternoon in Charles Koch Arena at 2 p.m.
