WACO, Texas- The Wichita State men's tennis team fell to No. 29 Baylor 6-1 on Friday at the Hurd Tennis Center.
Wichita State (10-4) fell behind a point early in the doubles competition. Roberto Maytin and Robert Verzaal of Baylor defeated Guillermo Nicol and Tomislav Grequrovic, 8-3 and Marko Krickovic and Diego Galean of Baylor defeated Matheus Pereira and Tin Ostojic, 8-6 to give the Bears a 1-0 lead.
Erick Reyes got the only point of the day for the Shocker men when he grabbed a big win over No. 97 Marko Krickovic, 1-6, 7-6, 1-0.
The Shockers will head to Tulsa, Okla. on Wednesday, March 27 for a match against No. 21 Tulsa at 5 p.m.
