WICHITA, Kan. - Senior Aliphine Tuliamuk is the WSU Athlete of the week for the week of Sept. 4, 2012. 

Aliphine Tuliamuk helped the Shockers to a first place finish at the J.K. Gold Classic over the weekend and broke the course record by more than two seconds with a winning time of 13:27.75. Tuliamuk ran away from the women's field of 126 participants and finished more than 14 seconds ahead of Kansas State's Laura Galvan to repeat as the women's 4K Champion at RAFT Golf Course in Augusta, Kan.
