LINCOLN, Neb. - Day one is complete for the Wichita State
Shockers women's golf team and the Shocks sit in a tie for 12th place
at 646 after 36 holes of golf at the Chip-N Club Invitational hosted by
Nebraska. Redlands Community
College leads the field at 613 with SMU in a close second place at 614.
Junior Gretchen
Huhnerkoch is the top Shocker with a 36-hole score of twelve-over 156 with
fellow juniors Natalie Samb and Hollie Weatherburn each at sixteen-over 160 to
sit in a tie for 35th.
Amy Anderson of North Dakota State is the top individual with a 36-hole
score of five-over 147.
