WICHITA, Kan. - Follow and support Wichita State
women's basketball head coach Jody Adams as she participates in Cruisin' For A
Cause - a long-haul motorcycle ride May 4-12 for the Champions For A Cause
Foundation.
Coach Adams will blog
throughout the ride against breast cancer, which starts in Rapid City, S.D.,
May 4 and ends more than one week later in Las Vegas, Nev. The motorcycle ride spans more than 1,100
miles and is one of the Champions For A Cause Foundation's annual events.
The Champions For A Cause
Foundation is a non-profit 501(c)(3) fundraising organization started by
Tennessee women's basketball associate head coach Holly Warlick and LSU head
coach Nikki Caldwell. The mission of the foundation, "is to advance and support
the cause of charitable organizations who advocate and act to better the
quality of life and health for individuals at risk or in need," according to

Since 2007, Cruisin' For A
Cause has raised nearly $100,000 and awareness for a cure for breast cancer. The
money raised by the foundation's events supports efforts such as the University
of Tennessee Breast Health Outreach Program, the Kay Yow Cancer Fund, the
Wellness Communities of Tennessee and the Iris Cantor-UCLA Women's Health,
Education and Resource Center.
