Carbondale, Illinois -The Wichita State Shockers blanked the Southern Illinois Salukis, 7-0 on Saturday afternoon.

Southern Illinois was down to only four health players so only the No. 1 and No. 2 doubles and No. 1-No. 4 singles matches were played.

"In conference we know we're going everyone's best shot," head coach Colin Foster said.  "Even though SIU was shorthanded they came out playing free and with nothing to lose on their home courts.  We responded well and it was a good team win and we will be ready for another challenge at Evansville tomorrow."
