ST. LOUIS- Sophomore Kasha Kolb went 2-0 last weekend to help Wichita State to a Missouri Valley Conference series win at Drake. For her efforts Kolb has been named the MVC Pitcher of the Week, the conference office announced today.

The Chelsea, Okla., native threw two complete games on the weekend, including a complete game shutout, her second of the season, in game one of the series. Kolb compiled a 0.50 ERA and 16 strikeouts while allowing just three hits in 14.0 innings of work.

Kolb and the Shockers will travel to Tulsa, Okla., on Tue., April 6, for a doubleheader against the Golden Hurricane starting at 4 p.m.
