WICHITA, Kan.--Sophomore center Garrett Stutz has been named the WSU Athlete of the Week for leading WSU in scoring and rebounding last week.

He had 10.0 points and 7.7 rebounds a game in the Shockers' three wins. He shot 52.4 (11-21) from the field and made all eight of his free throws. He also had a career-high 12 rebounds against Alcorn State.

The Shockers travel to Kansas City next to take on UMKC on Wednesday, December 9.
