• The Wichita State women's basketball team continues its season-best five-game homestand when the Shockers welcome an east coast team to Charles Koch Arena for a fourth-straight year as La Salle visits Wichita at 7:05 p.m., Monday. It marks the third game in four days for the Explorers on the back end of a three-game swing through the Midwest.

• The game will be broadcast live on KFH 1240 AM due to the conflict with men's basketball, with Brian Petrotta on the call. Fans can also listen worldwide through the web stream at ShockerRadio.com.

• La Salle comes into Monday's matchup having lost two straight after dropping a 76-55 decision at Oral Roberts Friday afternoon followed by a 62-39 loss at Tulsa Saturday afternoon. Morgan Robertson leads the Explorers with 13.5 points per game, including a team-best 12 against Tulsa on Saturday.

• Wichita State is 8-1 under head coach Jody Adams in non-conference home contests. WSU's only loss was a 65-58 defeat at the hands of Kent State last December. The Shockers have won those games by an average margin of more than 12 points per game. WSU has won three-straight non-conference home games, and 16-of-17 out of league games inside Charles Koch Arena.

• The Shockers will be shorthanded for a second-straight game, and will be without an experienced post player as senior Ashley Gladden traveled home Saturday morning following a death in the family and will not be back for Monday night's game. Junior Sheena Johnson missed Friday night's game against Western Illinois with injury, and is listed as day-to-day.

• Monday marks the first visit by an Atlantic 10 team to Charles Koch Arena since Charlotte came to town and defeated the Shockers 83-60 in 2004.

• Friday's 25-point margin of victory was the largest for the Shockers under Jody Adams. The previous best was a 20-point win away from home against Jacksonville State last season in Memphis. WSU's previous best margin of victory at home was 19 points against Western Illinois last year.

• The Shockers come into Monday's matchup leading the conference in a pivotal category, turnover margin. WSU enters the game with a +8.00 margin, averaging just 16 miscues per game, tied for the second-best mark among MVC schools. The Shocks are forcing an average of 24 turnovers per game, which leads all schools as well.
