2014 (SOPHOMORE): INDOOR- Did not compete. OUTDOOR- Competed at two meets during the outdoor season... Won the 5000 meters with a time of 17:48.05 at the KT Woodman Classic.

2013 (FRESHMAN): INDOOR- Ran a personal best of 10:58 .86 in the 3,000m run at the Herm Wilson Invitational. Set a new personal record with a time of 18:18.28 in the 5,000m at the Iowa State Classic. Crossed the finish line at 5:20.05 in her first collegiate mile at the Varsity Apartments Invitational. OUTDOOR: Won the 10,000m run at the KT Woodman Classic with a time of 37:39. 41. Improved her PR in the 10,000m run with a time 36:40.62 at the MVC Outdoor Championships. Placed seventh in the 10,000m run at the conference meet.  Ran a personal best of 17:34.41 in the 5,000m to finish ninth at the MVC Outdoor Championships. 

Derby High School: Medaled in both the 1600m and 3200m runs at the state meet as a senior. Finished 4^th in the 2011 state track meet in the 1600m. Earned four letters in Cross Country. Helped the Panthers to a State Championship in her freshman season.

Personal:  Daughter of Steven and Susan Hornbeck. Has a younger brother, named Eric.
