TRACK & FIELD

2014 (JUNIOR): INDOOR- Took home first place in the pole vault at the Kansas State Open... Fourth place finish in the MVC Indoor Championships... Recorded her season best vault in the MVC Indoor Championships. OUTDOOR- Opened the outdoor season with a win in pole vault at the ESU Spring Open with a winning mark of 3.75 meters... Followed that up with a win at the SFA Skecher's Carl Knight Invitational with a vault of 3.70 meters.

2013 (SOPHOMORE): INDOOR- Vaulted the sixth best mark in school history when she cleared 12-3 ½ at the MVC Indoor Championships. Placed fourth in the pole vault at the conference meet. Finished a season best second at the KSU Open. Claimed four top five finishes during the indoor season. OUTDOOR: Vaulted a season best 12-2 ¾ to place seventh the MVC Outdoor Championships. Placed a season best third in the pole vault at the Track-It-Buster Invitational with a mark of 12-0 ½. Vaulted 12-0 ½ to place fourth at the Air Force Twilight Open. 

2012 (FRESHMAN): INDOOR - Won the pole vault at the Kansas State Open...Posted season-best mark of 12-0 1/2 at the SPIRE Division I Indoor Track & Field Invitational...Finished in a tie for fifth place at the MVC Indoor Championships...OUTDOOR - Participated in seven meets for the Shockers...Vaulted 12-5 at the KT Woodman Classic, which ranks fourth all-time at WSU...Finished tied for fourth at the MVC Outdoor Championships with a mark of 12-2 3/4.

High School: Lettered four years in track and two years in volleyball at Bishop Carroll HS...Kansas Scholar...Personal best pole vault mark of 12-6....Class 5A state record holder in pole vault.

Personal: Born Dec. 19, 1992...Daughter of Carl and Margaret Detmer...Has one brother, Kyle, and one sister, Katie...Majoring in biology/pre-dentistry.
