Fall: Singles// Made it to the quarterfinals at the ITA Regionals, beating opponents from Drake, Nebraska and Oklahoma. Doubles// Played with Luka Mrsic at the ITA Regionals in the first round. Spring: Singles// Named AAC Player of the week on Feb. 1...had a 12-7 record in dual matches with all matches played at courts one (7-3) and two (5-4). Doubles// Record an 11-12 record, playing with five different partners. 

2020-21 (R. Sophomore)
Spring: Singles// Had a 12-9 record while playing at No. 3-5… clinched matches versus No. 22 Memphis and No. 48 SMU… named the AAC Player of the Week on March 9th after going undefeated against No. 22 Memphis… Doubles// Went 7-12 while playing with Orel Ovil and Stefan Latinovic.

Before Becoming a Shocker
Nicolas Acevedo comes to Wichita State from Chile and looks to make an immediate impact with the Shockers. As a junior player Acevedo won two grade four International Tennis Federation tournaments in doubles. He also notched two ITF tournament victories in singles in 2017. In 2018, Acevedo had a stellar victory over the player currently ranked No. 524 by the Association of Tennis Professionals at the Trujillo 15K ITF futures tournament.
