2012 (SENIOR): INDOOR - Finished second with a personal best heptathlon point total of 5,441 at the MVC Indoor Championships, where he finished second overall...Posted personal bests in the 1000m, high jump and long jump portions of the multi-event at the MVC meet...OUTDOOR - Competed in four decathlons during the season...Personal-best point total of 7,324 came at the Drake Relays, during which he posted personal bests in the long jump, high jump, 400m, 110m hurdles and 1500m...Named MVC Scholar-Athlete.
2011 (JUNIOR): INDOOR - Placed third at the MVC Championships in the heptathlon with a personal best 5,194 points. The total ranked on the WSU all-time list. He won the 60-meter portion of the multi with a time of 6.99 and the pole vault with a mark of 15'7". He also set personal bests in the multi's shot put (42'23/4"), high jump (6'1/2") and 60-meter hurdles (8.94)...OUTDOOR - Finished fifth in the MVC Championships decathlon with 6,405 points. He set two personal bests during the multi -- in the 110-meter hurdles (15.84) and javelin (127'0")...Set a personal best decathlon points total at the Angelo State Spring Break Multi with 6,481. He also set personal bests in several portions of the multi -- in the 100 meters (10.85), 400 meters (50.31), 1,500 meters (4:59.08), high jump (5'93/4") and long jump (21'61/4")...Named to the 2011 USTFCCCA Division I All-Academic Track & Field Team.
2010 (SOPHOMORE): INDOOR - Had a personal best vault of 16' 2 3/4" at the Pole Vault Summit to place fifth in section one...Was third in the vault at the adidas Classic (16' 2 3/4")...Was fourth at the WSU Invitational in the vault, clearing the bar at 16' 1 1/4"...OUTDOOR - Set a new personal best in the pole vault at the MVC Championships, clearing 15' 9 1/4" to finish seventh overall...Was second in the pole vault at the Emporia State Invitational with a mark of 15' 3".
2009 (SOPHOMORE): Redshirted both indoor and outdoor seasons.
2008 (FRESHMAN): INDOOR - Placed fourth at the Kansas State Open with career-best height of 15-7...Cleared 14-10 at the Jayhawk Classic to place eighth...OUTDOOR - Finished sixth in the ‘B’ section of the pole vault (15-1) at the Oregon Relays...Placed sixth at the Tulsa Duels, clearing a height of 14-1 1/4.
Cheney HS: Placed second at the 3A state track meet in the pole vault in 2006...Finished sixth in the pole vault at the state meet in 2007 and fifth in the 200m...Named 2007 Male Athlete MVP...Lettered in track, basketball, and football.
