Moore
Wichita State sophomore infielder
Ausha Moore joins the podcast to talk about choosing softball over basketball, with help from Dad and a wiffle ball, and her old-school music tastes as influenced by Mom. We also discuss Wichita State's 14-game win streak in conference play,
Kinzey Woody's swag and the quiet contributions of teammates
Trinity Allen and
Johnna Schroeder.
Moore leads Wichita State with a .399 batting average, 22 home runs, a .942 slugging percentage and a .576 on-base percentage. Moore, who is from Del City, Okla., was a first-team All-American Conference pick earlier this week. Her mark of 22 home runs is tied for third-most in program history.
