WICHITA, Kan. - Wichita State men's basketball added two more pieces to its non-conference schedule puzzle Thursday.
The Shockers will officially open the season on Wednesday, Nov. 4 vs. Cal State Northridge in Charles Koch Arena. Then, during the first week of December, Wichita State will host Boise State in the Roundhouse on Saturday, Dec. 5.
Wichita State and Boise State are completing the second year of a home-and-home series that started last season in Boise. Last season's meeting in Boise was the first-ever matchup between the two programs. The Broncos came out with a 62-59 win in mid-November.
Boise State finished the 2025-26 season 20-12, but did not make a postseason appearance.
Wichita State is coming off a 24-win season and its second straight postseason berth. The Shockers have increased their win total each year under head coach
Paul Mills, who will be entering his fourth season on the sideline. The 2026-27 team enters with high expectations after the announcement of nine Shockers set to return.
