IRVING, Texas — After another undefeated week, Wichita State's
Xin Tong Wang was named American Conference Women's Tennis Player of the Week on Tuesday by the conference office.
Wang led the Shockers to two more wins last week, defeating Arkansas State and No. 62 Long Beach State. The junior went 4-0 across doubles and singles, with all four wins coming at the No. 1 position. She did not drop a set in any match during the week.
Wang is 7-3 in singles and 9-1 in doubles this season. She is ranked No. 17 in doubles with
Giorgia Roselli.
The honor is Wang's third conference player of the week award this season and her second in a row. Fellow Shockers
Vichitraporn Vimuktananda and
Giorgia Roselli have also earned the weekly award this season.
Wang and the Shockers continue the 2026 season on Friday, March 27, at home against South Florida.
