MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The Wichita State women's tennis team will travel to Memphis, Tenn., to compete in the ITA Central Regional Championships at Memphis' Leftwich Tennis Center Oct. 14-19.

This tournament marks the Shockers' first full-team competition of the fall slate.

Five Shockers will compete in the qualifying and main draws of singles and doubles. The group includes seniors Xin Tong Wang and Giorgia Roselli and freshmen Alina Vysochenko, Dinara De Silva, and Alisa Ozgun.

ITA Regionals are one of three tournaments where players can earn bids to the NCAA Individual Championships. Both singles and doubles feature 64-player qualifying and main draws, with NCAA berths awarded to the top two singles finalists and doubles champions.
