SARASOTA, Fla. – The Wichita State men's golf team begins play in the 2025 American Athletic Conference Championship on April 21 at the Ritz-Carlton Members Club.

Last time out, the Shockers finished 12
th in a 13-team field in the Hawkeye Intercollegiate in Iowa City, Iowa, back on April 14.

Prior to that, Wichita State had arguably its best performance of the season, finishing tied for third and beating eight top 100 teams at the Wyoming Cowboy Classic in Maricopa, Arizona on April 1. This tournament included wins for the Shockers over then No. 50 Grand Canyon and No. 42 USC, and the Shockers tied with No. 35 San Diego.

At last year's AAC Championship, the Shockers stunned the field, putting together an incredible third-place finish, the best finish at the AAC Championship in team history. Current senior
Michael Winslow tied for fourth place to lead the Shockers on the individual leaderboard at Pelican Golf Club in Belleair, Florida.
