MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – The Wichita State men's tennis team wrapped up the regular season with a 4-0 loss to the No. 44 Middle Tennessee State Blue Raiders on Sunday afternoon at MTSU Tennis Center.

In doubles, the hometown Blue Raiders struck quickly, defeating
Arenui Luethi and
Vanja Hodzic 6-1 at court one to take an early advantage. MTSU finished off doubles with a 6-3 win over
Ilias Worthington and
Alejandro Jacome at court three, taking the opening point.

In singles, each side took three first sets across the six singles courts.

MTSU struck first singles, defeating Hodzic 6-4, 6-3 at court two, and added a win by retirement over
Kristof Minarik at court one to take a quick 3-0 lead.

The No. 44 Blue Raiders closed out the win with a 0-6, 6-1, 6-4 win over
Amir Milushev, clinching and ending the match with a 4-0 result.

Next up, the Shockers begin play in the 2025 American Athletic Conference Championship on April 17 in Memphis, Tenn., at Leftwich Tennis Center.
