MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Wichita State men's tennis junior
Luke Bracks has qualified for the 2024 Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) National Summer Championships at Leftwich Tennis Center this week in Memphis.

The event consists of a 32-player singles draw and a 16-team doubles draw with all matches playing out August 10-13.

Bracks qualified for the Championships after recording two wins in the ITA Summer Series, which gave him a top-three finish in the series point standings, qualifying him for the National Summer Championships.

Darragh Glavin said. "It's great to see the hard work he's put in pay off and I'm looking forward to seeing his results this week in Memphis."

Bracks is competing in both singles and doubles at the Championships. He will face top-seeded Kenta Miyoshi in singles on August 10 at 10:30 AM CT and will follow that with a doubles match on August 11 at 5:00 PM CT with partner, Max Schmidhauser against the top-seeded pairing of Oskar Poulsen and Marko Miladinovic.

"I'm happy that the hard work and training I've been doing in Wichita this offseason is paying off," said Bracks. "I'm really excited and looking forward to competing this week in Memphis."
The champions of the singles and doubles brackets will receive main draw wildcards and finalists will receive wild cards into the qualifying draw of the 2024 NCAA Fall Individual Championships hosted in Waco, Texas by Baylor University November 19-24. Additional awards for competitors include USTA Pro Circuit wild cards and $20,000 in prize money.
