WICHITA, Kan. – Wichita State men's tennis head coach
Darragh Glavin announced the signing Arenui Luethi, a transfer from Queens University, to next year's roster.

Coach Glavin is thrilled to add the freshman transfer the team next year.

"Arenui is going to bring some experience to the team," said Glavin. "He competed at a good level this year and improved as the season went on last year as a true freshman."

Luethi, a native of Buchs, Switzerland, will come to Wichita State after being named to the Atlantic Sun All-Freshman Team after a stellar performance this past season, the first freshman in the history of the Queens program to earn this honor.

In doubles, went 9-8 in dual matches, playing the bulk of the season at court two, with partner, Connor Enslin. In singles, Luethi was 10-9 in dual matches, competing entirely. at the top three courts, with the majority of his matches coming at court three and he ended the year playing at court two.

"He's a guy that wants to work hard, compete, improve, and develop," said Glavin. "I think he going to fit well here, competing in a culture and environment where he's going to be pushed to do better."

Luethi will come to Wichita State as a sophomore and becomes the third member of this year's men's tennis recruiting class, joining Ilias Worthington of England and Luca Mindrut of Romania. The team's roster number for next season now sits at eight.
