GREENWOOD, Ind. – After pairing classroom success with their on-court performance, Wichita State's Luke Bracks, Misha Kvantaliani, and Marcelo Sepulveda, have been named to the second ever College Sport Communicators Academic All-District Men's Tennis Team.

CSC, formerly called CoSIDA, has sponsored Academic All-America teams since 1952, but this is only the second year that the organization has announced a tennis team list. To earn the honor of Academic All-District, student-athletes must possess and maintain a 3.50+ cumulative GPA and have to be at their current school for a full calendar year. Graduate students must have also maintained at least a 3.50 as an undergrad.

Bracks, a junior from Tulsa, Oklahoma, holds a stellar GPA of 3.77, and is working towards a bachelor's degree in finance. Bracks was a staple at No. 5 singles throughout the season and collected a signature, come-from-behind 7-6 (5) win at No. 3 doubles against Tulsa in the first round of the AAC Championship on April 18.

Kvantaliani, a second-year graduate student from Tbilisi, Georgia, holds a perfect 4.0 GPA and recently completed his master's degree in sport management. He played in every match this season and competed at the No. 1 or No. 2 position in both doubles and singles in all but one match this season. Kvantaliani collected his best wins of the season on April 5 against South Florida, defeating No. 51 ranked Alvin Tudorica and Erik Grevelius in doubles, 6-4, and then turning around and beating No. 65 ranked Tudorica in singles, 7-6 (9), 7-5, at court one, to help the Shockers to a 4-3 upset win over the Bulls.

Sepulveda, a graduate student from Monterrey, Mexico, possesses a GPA of 3.60, and is working towards a master's degree in management science and supply chain management. He competed in every match this season for the Shockers and went 6-1 in his final six doubles decisions of the season and he tied for the team lead in both doubles and singles dual wins this season. Sepulveda clinched the Shockers' 4-3 win on April 5 over South Florida with a 6-7 (3), 6-2, 6-2, win at court three.

Academic All-District honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America ballot. First-, second-, and third-team Academic All-America honorees will be announced on June 4.
